“I love the relationships I have with my patients and taking care of them like they are family. The patient-physician relationship is foundational to our practice of concierge medicine and remains my focus as the field continues to evolve.”
Location: Tampa, FL
Dr. Radley Griffin is the founder of Griffin Concierge Medical and a board-certified family medicine physician in South Tampa. He opened the practice in 2008 to build long-term relationships with a limited panel of members. He is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, representing the top 7 percent of U.S. physicians.
- Concierge family medicine, defined
- A membership model in which a physician limits panel size so that each member receives longer visits, direct access to their doctor, and preventive care planned around one person rather than a schedule.
Dr. Griffin earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Caribbean Netherlands and completed his family medicine residency as chief resident at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville. He has been named a Tampa Magazine Top Doctor in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025.
In 2008, Dr. Griffin founded Griffin Concierge Medical as a full-service, primary care practice where he could connect with his patients on a deeper level. He previously worked as the sole emergency department physician at UF Health Shands Hospital and at a large family medicine practice in Manhattan, where the practice of medicine was more transactional versus relationship driven. With a team of concierge physicians, Dr. Griffin has built a practice where the patient-physician relationship is the foundation of exceptional care.
Dr. Griffin grew up in Ocala, Florida, one of six sons of a well-respected pharmacist. He and all five brothers followed the path into healthcare to make a difference in patients’ lives. In his free time, Dr. Griffin enjoys fishing in his kayak and traveling with his wife and two daughters.
I have been a patient of Dr. Griffin’s for almost 15 years. The concierge aspect of medicine has been an investment at an early age, and I highly recommend this to anyone ready to make a commitment in their long-term health. Griffin Concierge has been by my side as a young adult, and I value the professional and highly skilled team Dr. Griffin has developed.
